Marco Polo's Expeditions

We apologize for the quality of our images due to WIndows10 erasing our photo file :(

BEFORE

Decluttering, organizing, designating and customizing various storage closets were at the top of our to-do list even before actual construction began.

Mrs. Rice exclaimed, " We come through this room all the time from the driveway, now that there's good storage for everything I can finally use this area.  Thank you for helping me organize it all!"

BEFORE

One exclusive, fanciful retreat for an imaginative client!  We started out with just a striped down shell which was transformed into this luxurious cottage  hide-away.

Upgrades included a copper clad tray ceiling, stone floors, a full kitchen, amazing crystal floret chandelier, heavy silk drapery and one fabulous slipper tub.

Sharing some 'Before & After' shots!

DURING CONSTRUCTION....

We're not afraid of tough demolition!  This old iron tub was handily sawed in half and disappeared just like a magic trick!  Replaced fixtures, flooring and new finishes completed this project in style.

This one piece shower was happily disposed of then replaced with a very chic walk in shower!  Of course, that new element was only a part of this whole new look!

Donna noted :          " I wanted a peaceful place to get my mornings together -   I now feel the Zen!"

Some of Lynn's favorite additions to this portion of her kitchen renovation was the lofty lit curio cabinet, customized standing desk/work station with new found storage above.  After demolishing  the lowly broom closet and underutilized   pass-through  we've made these niches reachable and much more useful!

Our mission was to create a surprising Chinese inspired powder room behind our custom-built shoji screen French doors. Tantalizing color contrasts along with a hand hewn stone sink atop an antique Chinese cabinet wows everyone!

Mr. Brown shared this incident:  " One guest was amazed that behind the pair of post modern French doors (which he loved) was an elegant Asian inspired powder room. "
